Punk Chronicles: Interviews From the Underground features conversations with noted countercultural underground music icons by author, photographer, and drummer David A. Ensminger (as well as Trust fanzine writer Jan Rohlk), who has written for Houston Press, Popmatters, Maximum Rocknroll, Razorcake, the Univ. Press of Mississippi, the Univ. of Texas Press, and more. This volume contains some material previously published in the rare and obscure zine Left of the Dial, like Bad Religion, interviews that were previously only available on-line, such as Gary Floyd, Feederz, and Articles of Faith, one recently translated from German (Ill Repute), some recently found in print (Frightwig, Elected Officials, and MDC), and a handful of brand new interviews from 2019, such as Agnostic Front, The Flesh Eaters, and Toxic Reasons, that have never been shared with the public until now.
