Piano technics is related to the necessary skill which is used to play the piano, involving finger, wrist and arm dexterity. A musical exercise is often called an etude and thus we name all these technic drills Etudes. It is very important for the student to play at a steady tempo, and both soft and loud to establish good practice habits.
